.The IBO 2009 committee
Every year a new committee takes up the challenge to organize a fantastic IBO. In 2009 Jacqueline, Naut, Anique, Floris and Nienke were responsible for the preparation, assignment and trip. With a lot of enthusiasm and dedication they have taken this great possibility.
Anique Bierman (assignment)Hi all, my name is Anique Bierman and I'm 28 years old. I've been working for TNT Post for over 2 years now as a market manager for strategic accounts. A challenging job I can tell you, but still I needed some extra (international) provocation! Therefore me and my great team members are currently exploring TNT international markets to compose a fantastic and challenging assignment for Young TNT! As I love to travel and also love my work, to me it seems terrific to combine those two and explore other aspects of TNT. I'm sure this years tenth anniversary IBO will become a great succes! Will you join?
Nienke Nijhuis (chairman)Hi young TNT members! My name is Nienke Nijhuis, I’m 25 years old and at the moment living in Utrecht. I joined TNT since last year, currently I’m working as an advisor at the Business Excellence department of TNT Post. Within the IBO committee my role is chairman. I’m really happy with this year’s committee members, everyone is enormously enthusiastic and motivated to organize a great and memorable IBO for you people! Which is, I can assure you, a great opportunity to do. I’m very curious to explore the global scope of our company, the business we are involved in, and to meet TNT colleagues abroad. And besides that there needs to be fun too…but that won’t be a problem with 30 young TNT members! Looking forward to see you all in the coming months and of course during the IBO 2009!!
Jacqueline Oomen (travel/programme)Hi everybody! My name is Jacqueline Oomen and I work as a Junior Counsel Integrity in Hoofddorp. Within the IBO committee I am responsible for the day to day program and the travel aspect. I am honoured to organize the tenth (!) IBO because I think that the IBO shows TNT’s international dimension and it can deliver added value for TNT. Moreover, it has to be fantastic to work and travel abroad together with a group of 30 Young TNTers. I believe we have a great team that is going to organize a trip that will exceed your expectations! I can’t wait to experience the IBO 2009 with all of you.
Floris Boesveldt (finance)Hello there, my name is Floris Boesveldt. I started at TNT in July 2008 as a Teamleader responsible for the Major Account Desk at TNT Express Schiphol. Before that I worked for 4 years with an Investment bank as an Account Manager for Institutional Relations. Quite a career change indeed, but the best move ever I can tell you! TNT is a great company to work for. So I am glad to be a member of this IBO Committee. My responsibilities within this IBO will be on the financial side (budget). These are challenging times economically, so it's important to make sure that the IBO will be financially healthy. For me the IBO is the ultimate way to meet and work intensively with young and ambitious colleagues in an international environment. I am looking forward to learn about the TNT business abroad, to learn about new cultures and to create real value for our company. And of course it will be fun as well. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in the coming months and of course during the IBO 2009.
Naut Penninx (communication)Hello everyone, my name is Naut Penninx and I started working for TNT in November 2007. I am currently working for TNT Post’s International Mail Unit as a Logistics Advisor which I enjoy a lot. It is my responsibility to inform you all about the IBO as soon as the committee has made progress with the organisation but please feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions or remarks. I am glad to be part of a committee that is challenged with making this year’s IBO a success for all the involved parties. Make sure that you apply for the IBO if you don’t want to miss the great opportunity of seeing TNT from a side that you have only heard of.
