Roy de Bakker – Chairman
Hi all, my name is Roy de Bakker and I am the new chairman of the Young TNT Board. I am 28 years old and currently working as a logistic advisor at the development department of mail. At the moment I am in Malawi for the Jatropha Project. At the end of march I will return. I am looking forward to work together with the Young TNT board to create a fantastic new year with lots of activities for you all. When you have any questions feel free to contact me.
Erik van de Kerkhof – FinanceHi there, my name is Erik van de Kerkhof and I work for TNT since December 2007. I work for TNT Post Parcel Service as accountmanager Cargo. It’s great to work for this company and this challenging business unit. Besides my work, I’m already one year a member of the Young TNT Board. This year I will be responsible for the finance. I think Young TNT makes a difference for the young professionals and a contribution to their working experience within TNT in the first years. In such a big company it’s great to have a network like this which makes it easier to get to know the company better, share experiences with your other young colleagues and of course have a lot of fun. I enjoy being involved and I would like to say to you: join us and enjoy all the great events we organise!
Peter Cermak – Projects
My name is Peter Cermak and I am a 29 year old Austrian that likes football, winter sports and has a fable for traveling. I obtained a Master of Science in International Business from the University of Maastricht in mid 2006, after which I joined the Global Experience Programme of TNT. Within this six month long assignment, I had the privilege to work for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Vientiane, Laos, assisting the Logistics Officer in organizing food distributions. After this amazing experience I started to work as a Program Coordinator for the SUN Program, a financial optimization programme at the TNT Corporate Head Office. 18 months in the job, I changed positions and am now working at the European Mail Networks (EMN) as a Business Controller responsible for Germany and Austria.
Being one of the few internationals at the TNT Mail Head Office, I am very much interested in increasing the international character of Young TNT and to involve more foreigners in our Young Professional Network. Therefore, my team and I from Young TNT International are looking for ways to involve more people from all over the world to give Young TNT a more diverse character.

I can assure you that the brand new YTNT board is looking forward to making this a great year. So check our website and keep an eye on your mailbox to make sure that you get the most out of YTNT!
Jeanette van Egmond – EventsAlmost two years ago I started working at TNT Post as a commercial Trainee. Now I’m an accountmanager for TNT Post and travel a lot to see our clients in the south part of Holland. Because I’m on the road so often and don’t see a lot of my colleagues, I thought it would be nice to participate in some way to create more contact with fellow employees. Young TNT was the perfect organisation for me to join; fun and business combined together. This year it is my task to make sure al our events are organized successfully, together with the events committee of course! We will organize al kind of different events, roughly divided in fun-events and business-events. Some that you have seen before in previous years and some that are brand new. I hope you will enjoy our events, see you soon!
Derk van Wingerden - Secretary
Hi there, my name is Derk van Wingerden. I started in February 2009 as a commercial trainee at TNT. After four months of an intensive acquaintance with the TNT organisation, I started to work as a Category Manager Concept Stores at TNT Post Retail in The Hague. As category manager I am ROI responsible for the brand stores of TNT Post, and focuses thereby on category management, product development and opening of new brand stores in the Netherlands. I truly enjoy my first job at TNT! It gives me the freedom to further develop the retail network and focuses thereby on innovative marketing concepts.
As secretary of the Young TNT board, I am responsible for all incoming and outgoing information flows. Furthermore I am responsible for the membership administration and our member strategy, which imply that I will try to energize our current members and focuses next to that on the recruitment of new Young TNT members. I am really looking forward to meet you at one of our inspiring and energizing events!
See you soon!
